Other Side of the Road

Having run out of village to explore we headed back up to the road. There were another couple of ruins we had seen on the other side which needed investigating. This building didn't contain much, however, we could see a more impressive structure behind it.

Old Skool

A building like this with a lot of windows usually means one thing: a school.

Outdoor Loos

And next to it was an outdoor loo. Two of them in fact. Presumably one was for men and the other for women. There was rudimentary plumbing too, well, holes in the floor.

Anyway, you probably aren't that interested in the loos, so let's take a closer look at the school. This is Point 6 on the map.

Old Black Board

That's a long blackboard. Imagine it covered in mathematical formulae. I would be tempted to gaze at the countryside through the window.

Abandoned Villages - Trozena

If you've driven over the iron bridge which lies just beyond the abandoned village of Gerovasa, near the outskirts of Paphos Forest, then you will also have driven past the abandoned village of Trozena. Unless you are very observant, you won't have noticed it though, as it is barely visible from the road. It is worth taking a detour to explore the ruins, as these photos will hopefully show...
