Geroskipou Beaches
Beach Entrance

Finally, this is the main entrance to Riccos Beach Bar from the beach itself.
Time To Cool Off

At this point I decided to take a quick dip to cool off a bit. The water temperature at Geroskipou Beach is pretty cold compared to some of the other beaches, but in instances like this, where it was 40+ C, that is just what the doctor ordered.
Towards The Next Bar

You can see what I mean now abut how the sunbeds are clustered around the bars.
Beach Path

To the rear of the beach, a tree-lined path runs the length of the bay, and provides shade for anybody not wanting to get a full tan.
Outdoor Gym

Just in front of the path you will find a couple of outdoor gyms. These are popping up all over the place on coastal paths, and prove very popular. And don't worry, they are coated in a substance that means you can still use them in the hot sun. You may not want to use them then, but you will be able to do so without sustaining a burn!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
