Geroskipou Beaches
Mainly Sandy

The beach is predominantly sandy. There are some pebbles in places but if you want to feel the sand between your toes you won't be disappointed.
I should point out that when I take pictures like this I try and include as few people as possible. It is important to respect people's privacy in places like this. So if areas seem empty it is because I have carefully selected the shot to be like that.
Beach Bar Number 2

The beach is mainly sunbed free. However, when you see strips of them like this it means you are near a beach bar. In this case, it is the famous Riccos Beach Bar. Please note that when you visit any of the beaches in Cyprus, you are not obliged to use a sunbed. You can just bring your own towel if you want. This is worth mentioning because apparently somebody had issues at Venus Beach recently where a vendor was trying to claim people couldn't place their own towels down. This is NOT the case.
In terms of cost, it is a standard €2.50 for all municipal sunbeds in Cyprus. You will find private ones by hotels, which may have different tarifs. But in general, that is the going rate. With another €2.50 for a parasol.
Entrance Number 1

Riccos Bar has at least three entrances. This is the one at the Paphos end. It leads to the seating area.
The Seating Area

And this is inside. There are actually a lot of tables. There is also a Play Area you can see in the distance, with a number of farm animals thrown in for good measure.
Cuteness Overload

I have adjusted the lighting on these interior shots, so you can see more clearly. In reality it was quite dark here. This mother was guarding her baby chicks. If you want serious cute, and haven't yet watched the film we did to accompany this article, then make sure you do. There is a very cute baby goat which I didn't take a picture of, but who appears in the film.
