This is where the Exhibition is. It will be familiar to a lot of you who had COVID vaccinations here. For the rest of you, it is just up from Kennedy Square and 2nd Cup Coffee, pretty much opposite the Car Park. Click here to find Palia Ilektriki on the map.

Freshart College of the Arts, located in central Paphos, provides many art courses to students from across the region. Our daughter has been attending for the last 2 years to complete her BTEC Foundation course and there are also degree level students.

Today, Wednesday 7th June, has seen the opening of the Final Year show at Palia Ilektriki in Paphos. Cocktails will be served this evening from 6pm and the exhibition is open until 9pm, with a second day tomorrow 8th June from 11am until 6pm.

Showcasing some amazing artworks including paintings, mixed media, and digital pieces there are sculptures, installations, fashion, architecture, and photographs. We went along earlier to have a look and there is something for all tastes, so why not support the hard work of this wide variety of young students by popping along for a look around.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
