Modern Aphrodite
Another thing that didn't feature in the Kalimera shots was the art exhibition at Fabrica Hill. It would have been nice to give it a mention, as it is still running. I mention it here because this is a statue of Aphrodite, and she also gets a mention at Fabrica Hill, owing to her somewhat risque cult.
Sandy Bay, Lemba
Sandy Bay is still very popular in October. Just make sure there are life guards on duty if you choose to go swimming.

Paphos Lighthouse
I'm not allowed to fly the drone over the Archaeological Park without written permission. I got this lovely shot using the zoom facility. You can see the lighthouse with the Outdoor Theatre in front of it. To the left of that is the Asclepeion, which was a medical area. In front you will see the Agora. It is worth noting how much of the area is yet to be excavated. There is still a lot of buried history at the park, and indeed, the whole of Paphos.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
