Cyprus In Pictures - September 2025
Clouds
It wasn't all sun, sun, sun in September, as this picture shows. Lighthouse Beach was looking a bit overcast and washed out when we took this. We didn't have any rain though, which is what we really need.
Fish Boy
This little chap at the harbour continues to be a popular draw.
Agios Nikolaos Galataria
This beautiful chapel was another of our less popular shots. I understand why in this instance. People like looking at pictures of places they have visited, as it brings back happy memories of their holidays. Very few holiday makers will make it to the chapel, which lies at the top end of the Xeros Valley. This is a shame, though understandable, as it is in a remote area. Inside you will find some very old murals and the place oozes history. It isn't far from Sinti Monastery and Vretsia (an abandoned village) so you could easily make a day trip to the area. Perhaps I should do some films showing some day trip routes, like small-scale versions of our Road Trip eBooks. What do you think?
Ttakkas Bay
Imagine playing Hangman in Greek? Ttakkas would be a tough nut to crack. It is the name of a restaurant and bay on the north coast of Paphos, between Latsi and Aphrodite's Baths.
Paphos Boardwalk
The Boardwalk is still looking good. It is about time I did another filmed walk up there, now that it is getting a bit cooler again.
