Coral Bay Beach

Most of our summer shots are taken early in the morning, to avoid excess heat. So if you are wondering why Coral Bay Beach is empty it is beacuse they are having breakfast. If you went there today all the Watersport Apparatus would be out in force too.

The Quiet Before The Storm

This shot shows the coast near Polis Dog Beach. Funnily enough I was up that way this morning (04/08) and the bed is now chock full of tents and gazebos. During August this stretch of coast is VERY popular with the locals.
Paphos Castle

Does anybody know what those squares on the ground in front of the castle are for?
Lighthouse Beach

The Lighthouse Beach is a great place to chill that is close to the Sea Front. I can definitely recommend the BLTs in the cafe.
Aphrodite's Restaurant

Another part of the North Coast which is currently getting very busy is Aphrodite's Secret Beach, by Aphrodite's Baths. This is a great place to drive to. Then park your car and take one of the many nature trails for an awesome spectacle. Once you are finished, go for a swim and have a meal at the restaurant. Job done!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
