Chloraka Coast Path - Part 2
Back To The Sea

You will no doubt be pleased to see that the path is heading back towards the sea.

Building Site Scene

You get a good view of the Building Site from up here. You can see why I steered you away from it previously.
Scooter Stand

These scooters are available for rent, and stationed at fairly regular intervals along the Paphos Coast Path. I wonder if they all end up at one end? Does a van go around and redistribute them every so often? If so, how does it know where they are? Do they have GPS trackers built in?
Cliff Hanger

While I was walking along the path, I couldn't help but notice the land next to the cliff seemed to be suffering from subsidence. I wonder if they are going to be reinforcing this at some point in the future?
Sea View

Soon the path moves into a more open area. If you look at a satellite image of the area it is clear that vehicles used to drive over here. Presumably it was a popular fishing spot or something similar. Now though, it looks like the only access is via the coast path.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
