Birthday Cats
Pretty Boy

So yes, we definitely made the right decision when we took them back from the shelter. We couldn't imagine them not being in our lives now.

On Patrol

There is a triangle of tracks outside our house, that goes around a vineyard. Occasionally we walk around it and the kittens follow. The further they get away from home, the bushier their tails become. Tabby especially develops a very thick bottlebrush of a tail.
Content Kitty

Another thing I find cute is that they all have their own favourite sleeping point. And they also seem to rotate. One week, Tabby sleeps here, the next week it might be Minx. Mark has recently taken to sleeping in a washing up bowl which contains some shells Alex found on numerous beach visits. Occasionally I see the other cats look at it, as if they are trying to work out what Mark sees in it. But so far, only he will lay on all the shells...
Playing With Bean

In this shot you can see patch trying his best to wind Bean up. Can you believe he used to be able to fit through the gaps in that fence? I remember that well, because eventually only Minx was still able to fit through. So naturally she would sit inside with Bean watching (and winding up) the other kittens.
Happy Birthday Cats!

This is a typical daytime scene at the moment. The heat makes the cooler, shaded tiles very inviting. Happy Birthday cats, and thank you for helping to keep us sane over the last year.
If you have kittens you cannot look after, please just don't dump them somewhere. Take them to one of the many refuges. We took ours to Paphiakos, down near the Mall. Admitedly we came and took them back again a week later, but if you have no room for them, at least give them a chance...

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
