The bridge actually crosses a stream. I wonder if this was the stream that originally fed the aquaduct which is to the left of the park?

Anyway, as you walk along the bridge you will be greeted by a number of impressive statues.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to represent but it looks pretty good.
