It was by the river that we found Freddy the Frog. He was croaking away quite happily, presumably trying to woo a mate.

So let's take a look at the newly replenished stream. It is certainly looking quite impressive.

High Tide?

You can see that the water level was much higher at one point this winter. The next time we have a really wet winter I shall have to check this out again. It is fairly accessible, compared to a lot of places, and it would be quite something to see this in full flow.

I love these seasonal waterfalls. Nothing is as spectacular as the one at Trozena though. We visited there on the same day and that is still an impressive sight.
