Though the church is fairly remote, and the villages in all directions all have their own churches, it is clear that this church does still get a lot of visitors.

Votive Offerings

These little wax dolls are votive offerings, used with fertility prayers. The wax limb to the right of the baby is for somebody praying that an injured or broken leg heals.

The church isn't very big, and I have now left it and walked to its rear, where a path leads into some trees.
