Abandoned Villages - Agios Theodoros
This Way

Once you have navigated your way around the range (just stay on the road) you will find yourself crossing this bridge.

Overhead

I had my drone with me, and yes, there will be a film at the end of the article. There are also some stills taken, to give you a better view when appropriate. Here you can see that there is nothing Venetian about this particular bridge.
Trail View

You can see the road here, progressing through the valley. Mosfili is the village on the hill in the distance. You come to a junction at one point. The left hand turn takes you up to the B and beyond. We will see what is up there later. For now, stick to the valley floor.
Agios Theodoros

As you drive up the road you won't see many ruins unless you look carefully. Most of them are on the slopes of the valley, and not visible from the road. Good thing we have a drone then...
Spot The Buildings

You can see this more clearly here. There are ruins dotted about the far slope, and more ruins below, out of camera. Note though, that there are no roads, other than a short track at the bottom going up to the first ruin. If you are visiting, it is probably best to park near the farm and walk up. Before you do that though, continue up the road you are on.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
