This was where we parked the car. To fly the drone, I like a nice clear area so I can land it easily if the battery gets low.

And this is why the area is difficult to explore in springtime. The vegetation gets quite high.
Sturdy Chimney
We mentioned previously that Istinjo and Zacharia are nearby. There is also a nice church - Agios Charalambos - that is in the area. This is to the right of this picture, in the distance.
Fauna
While I was flying the drone, Alex was out looking for flowers and birds to photograph.
Fennel
The pseudo-broccoli I mentioned in a previous blog has turned into fennel.

Let's take a little break from flowers. I know that Cyprus looks lovely in the Spring, and that it abounds with colour and life. But it' time to take a break. With the Polemi Tulip Festival fast approaching, and the knowledge that another road trip from Max is just around the corner too, I think we need to look at something without petals.Is this the Oldest Olive Tree in Cyprus?
