I have found the details of the doctor I wish to register with but cannot work out how to register. Am ...

I arrived around 11-15 am and and came out just before 2pm It was a l o n g wait.. That’s a long wait. I tend to arrive about 12.30 and am normally in an...

Re: Polis Hospital, GP's

Go to the Outpatients’ Department and there are two windows. One is for Registrations and the other is for Stamps. Take your medical card to Registrations and ask to see a doctor. If you have not been there before, they will put you on the system and create a file for you and that should be that. Yo...

Dermatologist at Paphos General ...

My wife has to consult the dermatologist at Paphos General next week. Can anyone provide directions to the area she needs?

And, by PM if appropriate, can anyone offer any feedback on their experiences with the dermatologist?

UK Driving Licence & EHIC

Just by chance I was listening to Rock FM in the car at lunchtime today, and there was a sponsored message from Status Insurance. Their representative was interviewed about Brexit and she explained that the latest situation regarding UK Driving Licences was that they would continue to be recognised ...

Re: MEU3 appointment to interview in 2 weeks

Thanks to Discoblous for posting the information about Immigration. I am saddened that the process has been made more difficult, especially for those who do not live in Paphos. My wife, after a year of illness (although, happily, on the mend) is not currently able to stand in a queue for hours. So ...

Re: GESY state healthcare system - Updates

If that is indeed the case, it is absolutely outrageous. Are U.K. citizens being discriminated against even before Brexit happens?

Chainsaws ... firewood ...

Since January we have been having regular deliveries of lemonwood for our log burner. The size of the wood has been ideal and the two brothers running the business have been obliging and professional. The price of the wood is good. Today I sent a message to them, asking for a delivery this week. I r...

Air Quality ... Cyprus

My wife has been told by her pulmonologist that she should avoid going out when the air quality is poor. I seem to remember there was a site which showed the quality of the air. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Wholesale price is about €0,90 a bottle so when one of our local bars in Argaka starts charging €3,60 I do raise a quizzical eyebrow.

Re: Extra 12 months to sort residency

I seem to remember it was “advisory” ... Indeed it was, although it would be somewhat churlish of Parliament not to enact the will of the people wouldn’t it. Not in my opinion ... a mistake was made in holding a referendum. MPs are there to decide, with their undoubted “expertise”, to act in the be...
