Tsada The Scenic Way - Now a Major Film

Post by Dominic »

First there was the blog: https://www.paphoslife.com/blog/tsada_the_scenic_way

Now, there's a big budget (a twix if I recall, plus a bottle of coke zero) remake for the big screen.

Watch it here first:

Whats about if the cam position is fixed slightly to the side instead of straight, to be able to see more of the countryside instead mainly the road...?

I didn't speed it up but I have a feeling that some frames get dropped somewhere along the editing process. The result is that even when I drive at 30kmh I look like I'm having a bit of a Colin Mcrae moment.

The advantage, though, is that it means I can show more scenery per minute.

I've used a fisheye lens to give more of a panorama, but if it is fixed to the side it gets quite annoying to watch, I think, and besides, you will then only see one side of the scenery.

When they release updated firmware for my 360 camera, I will try a panorama film. I can use the same attachment as the gopro, but plonk it on the roof instead. You will then be able to turn 360 as the film progresses.

You can slow it down yourself in youtube. Just lower the speed.

Great vid thanks, Dom! Yes, the fisheye lens definately improves the wide angle sideways scenic views, compared to previous vids. None of the distortion usually associated with fisheye lenses is apparent, either!

I don't think your typical Cyp would have stopped and honked his horn, in order to allow a large black snake to wriggle across the road, like you did...

Like Max, I can't wait to see the premiére of your first 360º HD video production!

AL :D

That's also an indication that I wasn't actually driving that fast. :)
