Green Monday Fun

Last year our attempts at flying a kite on Green Monday ended in failure. We wound up using it as a football. So this year we were determined to have more success.

Great pics - I wish Qatar would be only half as green at least for a week per year... Wondering whether there is a Guinness record for long distance flying of a kite from a car? If not for the tunnel you could fly one from Paphos to Limassol ;-)

Nice pix, looks like you all had fun.

Getting used to you calling it Green Day, I have only ever known it to be called Green/Clean Monday. It's what Google thinks too!
