Charity which takes furniture

Post by peteanddeb16 »

We are renting out our house in Cyprus for another five years unfurnished. It will be cheaper to give the furniture away and buy new at the end of the period than it will to store it, we have already stored it for a year.
Does anyone know of a charity which will take basically a whole house full of furniture? It is at present in storage in Polis.

They are on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/St-Michaels-Ho ... 503212978/

From there I found this email address: debsrathbone105@gmail.com

I know they use their facebook page though, so try there.

Why not enquire at the Hospice shop in Polis - just after the Steni turnoff on the left hand side of the road?

If you run a charity shop, let us know about it too!

https://www.paphoslife.com/advertise/directory

Go here and scroll down to the button to select a free Ad. Click that and fill in your details and we will get back to you. There will be a charity section in the directory so if you have a charity shop we would love to hear from you.

Samaritans, freedom dog sanctuary, are another two. There also people who will buy from you, for a pittance. I prefer to help a charity, not line someone else's pockets!
