A few months ago, I wrote a blog about the abandoned village of Vretsia. I also did a supplementary blog about Vretsia Taven which, until last summer had still been open seasonally, for hunters and the like. In that blog, I reported that it had obviously had a nasty fire, as it was very badly burned. Well yesterday we were giving some guests a tour of the area, and we popped in to see the tavern. Great blog ......very interesting about the Taverna.......the abandoned villages are extremely interesting when I have more time must do some exploring.....

Another very interesting blog and smashing photos thanks, Dominic! I wonder if the seasonal hunters have joined forces to voluntarily and collectively renovate Vritsia Tavern back to its former glory? On account that one or more of them accidentally set it on fire to begin with, maybe?
