Oh and somebody PMed me about this a while ago. I meant to message them back but I cleared all my PMs down and deleted it by mistake. Thanks for the heads up anyway, whoever it was.

Your quote: The drive along the motorway will be very scenic. Personally I am looking forward to taking it
Looking forward to it seeing as well Dominic but I don't think it will beat some of the scenic drives you have enthralled us with

From the Tsada to Kallepia road you can see, on the left, the contractor's cabins and track down to where the construction will be taking place. I went up to the site cabins a few weeks ago and spoke to a man up there.. I asked him when it is likely to be completed.. " It will take Many Years" he said to me..
I didn't ask if they had started the tunnel yet, but from a comment Max made a week or two back I thought that the tunnel had been started ???

An estate agent was showing us properties some 20 years ago.He advised us to buy near to banana bay as there was about to be a marina built there and property values could only rocket in value.

As regards road building and road planning, look how long the transformation of Ellados Ave is taking.when I enquired from someone on Paphos Council, he thought maybe next year...it might be finished.Road levels at road junctions seem to be a problem. Several times-when a road junction-is nearly finished, the two roads meet at different heights. So there is more digging and resurfacing until they get it right!
