Hi
Is there a form at the Land registry or something that is used to gift half the property into another name without using a lawyer? I think this is the case in the UK and with not working much this year I don't have the cash to give to someone else for doing something I can do myself.
Thanks

Re: Flights via mainland Europe to the UK
OK so I booked with Ryanair to Stansted from Paphos yesterday it was £23 and it did actually fly, shocking!! There was virtually no one on it and there seemed to be just the one flight at a time. I filled in the UK locator form which states you are to show on arrival but no one even asked if we'd co...

Re: Flights
It's absolutely not back to normal. I flew out of Paphos yesterday there was one flight with maybe 30 people on it. We were sat in the departure area with a row of seats to each person with plenty of rows left over. There were several planes parked up but not being used and I didn't see any coming i...

Re: Flights via mainland Europe to the UK
OK so Paphos Liverpool on 8th and 12th show £39flights on Skyscanner..... Until you try to book them then there are insufficient tickets. There does seem to a paphos Stansted flight on the 14th that is bookable at £23 but its cutting it fine and is going to be expensive for onward travel. I have to ...

Re: Flights via mainland Europe to the UK
 basically this is what I thought no one really knows what's going on. From what I can gather there are still repatriation flights coming in/going out but not sure if these are the ones they are charging €350+ for. I haven't been able to work for months so can't afford these especially as I am ...

Re: Flights via mainland Europe to the UK
I need to get back for a job that starts on 14th July so can't wait until flights here start especially as allowing UK citizens here has been moved back several times and 1st August is still provisional. Jet2 and Easyjet flights currently say from 15th and 21st July but these might move as was put o...

Flights via mainland Europe to the UK
Has anyone flown from Cyprus back to the UK via anywhere in mainland Europe with Wizz Air or Ryanair? Whilst I can find flights I can't find anything that says transit through the airport is OK. In Budapest they specify that UK citizens are not allowed to enter the country but nothing about transit....

Re: Protocols for Tourists from outside Cyprus
PCR stands for polymerase chain reaction it's basically a process that finds and photocopies certain sections of DNA (or RNA for viruses) . I. E. It looks for markers present in the Covid 19 virus and amplifies them if they are there so they can be detected.

While you are waiting for whichever tablet you get and if you have a smart phone just download the Kindle App and you can start reading books on your mobile.

Re: Coronavirus: Three week lockdown in force from Tuesday
You are aware you're in Cyprus right, not a lot of rule following goes on here! Already had our next door neighbours elderly and slightly frail looking dad popping round to them for a chat! I personally will be staying in unless the cupboards are bare and have set up a WhatsApp group with neighbours...

Re: Coronavirus: Three week lockdown in force from Tuesday
If you were a little nefarious you just leave it blank and scribble in a time if you get stopped. Surely the point was to stop too many people in certain areas. If you send in the text it gets checked against others with your post code and you get given a time slot that has less people out and about.

Re: Coronavirus: Three week lockdown in force from Tuesday
I am little confused here, you send a text message to say you need to go out it has to be approved and you receive a confirmation saying when you have to be home by. However the other option is you just print off a piece of paper and approve yourself and go back in whenever you want. Anyone else see...

Just so people know if they can't get out to get supplies they can call the municipality and they will assist you : https://in-cyprus.com/coronavirus-papho ... o-elderly/
