Re: Trozena Bailey Bridge

Thanks for the video , very interesting We also ended up at the bridge by accident last month . We were trying to get to Dora from Mamonia but had forgotten the map . It was quite a hair raising drive on narrow windy roads , and when we came to the bridge I didn’t want to cross it , so we carried on...

Re: Coronavirus: Cyprus excluded from UK safe list travel study

Our family has a holiday booked for late May/ early June , balance due soon . Reluctantly we will all have to cancel / change the flights . Most of us cannot do quarantine . Some of us will try again for October , the rest are moving it to next year. It’s a sad decision for us, all the adults have h...

Re: UK tourists

To be honest I would be pleased not to come as we are dubious about the airport , flight and test issues. The only trouble is that our daughter who was joini...

Re: Coronavirus: "Cyprus ready to reopen doors to tourists from June 15" (Updated)

Here in the UK we still have an advisory against foreign travel , and a quarantine that may be announced soon for travellers back into the UK from most countries . I don’t think we’ll be going anywhere soon . On a positive note infection rates are falling at last and we have had great weather for th...

Re: Free Cyprus Book!

I also enjoyed the Sunrise by Victoria Hislop although it did seem a bit like a history lesson in parts ! Another book I enjoyed along the same lines was The Cypriot by Andreas Koumi.

Re: Help needed...re Cat..NOT re- homing..

We live in the uk and love cats BUT there is a certain neighbourhood cat who likes to use our garden as a toilet and he scares the birds away. We have bought one of those large water pistols and keep it handy to give him a squirt if he appears, but after the first couple of soakings he doesn't seem ...
