In this film we fly over the abandoned villages of Trozena and Gerovasa, and take in the famous Bailey Bridge which spans the gorge that separates them.
You can get to the bridge by driving up the Diarizos Valley, which lies between Paphos and LImassol in Cyprus.

Re: Trozena Bailey Bridge
Lovely video. I was there yesterday by accident, not knowing the significance of the bridge until I looked it up at home later.
I walked across the bridge on a recce before going back to bring the car over.
Thanks Domenic

Re: Trozena Bailey Bridge
Thanks for the video , very interesting We also ended up at the bridge by accident last month . We were trying to get to Dora from Mamonia but had forgotten the map . It was quite a hair raising drive on narrow windy roads , and when we came to the bridge I didn’t want to cross it , so we carried on up the road and came out in Arsos in the end . We had no idea it was a Bailey bridge built by the British or that it was called the Trozena bridge , so that’s good to know . My husband loved the drive , he wants to do it again and cross the bridge next time we visit, he might be going on his own though as I’m not keen!
