We have taken all the documentation to our preferred doctor and they are doing the registration process.
But they have let me know that the system will not allow me in....... at the moment.

Well I never knew that you could register with two doctors.. Maybe we will try to get registered with one first

I take the last sentence to mean that UK pensioners with an S1 form will not have money taken by the income tax authorities.. But I assume they will still have to pay for the consultations and medicines..

We registered with the health service when we arrived here in 2007. We have a joint Medical card issued in March.. But we are still not able to register (at the moment) with the doctor we requested..

Well, supposedly the GESY system is supposed to come into effect on the 1st of June. That is in 23 days time.. Whether on that date the Hospital Pharmacy will only be for in patients, we can only wait and see..

Agreed, I saw it yesterday, and they have the Renault logo there as well... It is one thing selling new cars but will the servicing be up to scratch..

I have just had a phone call from the Doctor that both my wife and I have chosen to use and indeed have been using for many years.. I have been told that the system will not let me join.. I did visit the hospital yesterday, simply for a repeat prescription from any GP..
I checked in and was directed to the Very Full waiting room...
