Re: Great news for Brexit

Okay, I understand you cannot read the article so I will copy it - I've also had to go through to an incognito window and be bombarded with adverts, but here goes: UK to end freedom of movement for EU citizens on day one of Brexit, under new government plan New home secretary wants border restrictio...

Re: Are airlines tracking YOU?

I always check prices directly with the airline before using an alternative option. As an avid independent travel booker finding the best bargains for flights and accommodation booked separately from each other since leaving my tour operator employer in 2004 and all of our time living in Cyprus, it'...

Re: Rocketman

We wanted to see "Yesterday" at the cinema but sadly, it arrived at a time that we weren't always available to go to our local cinema using our 2 for 1 Meerkats ticket codes (Tues or Weds) as we were having ongoing work done on our kitchen project - so we missed it. Will probably wait now until it's...

Re: Best Site For Air Travel

I go to the website for the airport I want to fly from or to and check their destination routes to see which airlines fly from it - then I search directly on the airlines website. Skyscanner has got very limited now on what it offers up for viewing and doesn't show anywhere near as much as it used t...

Use different browsers, especially once you've found a price you like and you need to go back later to book it!

Re: Moving OIL RIG off the coast

I remember first seeing the rigs and platforms arriving off the coast of Limassol some years back so one night we popped down along the coast to see what was going on and to try my camera at night. This was taken on 12 January 2014 - it's the ENSCO 5006, a drilling platform. IMO: 8764482 MMSI: 63601...

Re: Dental implants

A colleague of mine when we lived in Limassol had hers done - she had so many problems with it, it took 18 months to eventually get it fully completed. She also had to have the sinus lift and it was this which was causing the problem as each time they tried to do it, she bled "like a stuck pig" (her...

Re: Crowdfunding for British rape-claim woman exceeds expectations

If you're at all active on social media, there are so many claims going around about this girl - including that she has done the same thing in Spain. How anyone could know this given her name has never been released, I've no idea! On top of that, questions as to why she's been kept in custody for wh...
