Re: So is it August 1st or Not ?

I must admit that on Paphos Chat the fact of having to pay for a test is not going down well :-) Some people are saying that Cyprus should pay for the tests for them.. Some are even saying that they will go elsewhere rather than Cyprus Some of the travel groups I'm on are very unhappy with this too...

Re: Flights via mainland Europe to the UK

LOL, that's Paphos about to go into lockdown again then! We've all seen those photos of the beach with them all topping up their tans before they head off on their Jollie's.

Re: Return of deposit on property purchase?

But who pays to instigate the court proceedings? I'm assuming someone has to start the ball rolling, in which case I think I would dig my heels in for a little longer as the seller and return a copy of the signed contractual agreement just to add a bit of weight to not rolling over at the first hurd...

Re: Can anyone help-Facebook Prob

There's a video here but I found it a bit annoying. However if you read the information by opening the full comments, it tells you to use the option to Report a Problem to Facebook, which apparently will be resolved by them over a couple of days: You have to get past the bit about the drop-down menu...

Re: Brits To Cyprus

Regarding the Bournmouth Beach photograph, I am a bit suspicious of that. I would rather see an overhead shot, with a timestamp on it. There has been comments the photos are old and from one of the airshows but the images have been shared so many times it's difficult to reverse search for the origi...

Leicester have gone backwards starting from Tuesday... Non-essential shops are closed again plus bars and restaurants will now not be allowed to open up on 4th July.

Re: Encouraging news over Brexit.

And there are so many people I see on various travel groups and forums still asking about property for sale, moving overseas on a permanent basis and how easy is it to get work and relevant paperwork....
A huge blow, but not entirely unexpected.

Re: post from UK,

Will be interesting to see how long it takes now to reach you from LCA, always guess work from there and extremely hard to judge, depending if it's coming through the normal mail.
We've known it take 2 weeks to send a package from Limassol to Paphos by mail, and that's long before all this began!

Re: post from UK,

Had a package sent tracked and signed for from UK to Cyprus on 24 March. Royal Mail showed it left UK Langley HWDC and it then disappeared. 18 May we chased it, to be told it's lost. Then on 23 May, it showed as being sent a second time from Langley! It reached Larnaca on 17 June and collected from ...

Starmer can think on his feet and articulate sentences into questions and answers.
That's something BoJo cannot do.
And when he starts to feel the pressure you can see his temperature starting to get the better of him. That will eventually be his downfall, I believe.

We've passed the 40k mark apparently as reported today.
Not bad considering the UK Government reckoned they would have been happy to have stayed around 20 Thousand Deaths.....

Re: Coronavirus: No new cases, first time since March 10

Jebe, is this new test an antibody test to show if you have had the virus or a covid test to confirm if you currently have coronavirus, do you know? It's been impossible to get tested here in UK unless you were at deaths door. Then only frontline workers who are unlikely to be jumping on a plane at ...

So, the deed is done... Commencing from 8 June 2020 and will be reviewed every 3 weeks: What does the new system involve? Passengers arriving in the UK will be required to fill out an online locator contact form - providing details of where they will spend their 14 days in self-isolation. The Home O...
