Kordylas Nature Trail

Post by CyprusSue »

Out and about exploring, and re-visiting the Trozena Bridge/Gerovasa village area, I came across a sign for the Kordylas Nature Trail. It was signposted on the road out of Trozena heading to Dora village. Not immediately visible. First time I had noticed it, and hadn't heard of it before. Sounded interesting.
Thought I'd try to find out more info about it, with the intention of doing this walk in the cooler months!.....but no luck....not even listed in the Forestry Dept. Nature Trail guides or anything. It was briefly mentioned in an article about a traditional festival in Dora village, but nothing more.
Even google maps didn't bring anything up.
Do any of you lovely people know anything about it?.

I've driven cross-country from Gerovasa to Dora, and it is a lovely route, so I would imagine any nature trail would be equally stunning. Who knows, perhaps that was the trail?

If it wasn't then I imagine the trail is probably very overgrown at the moment. I visited Gerovesa a few months ago with a view to doing a blog, but there was so much vegetation growing it was impossible.

Dominic you're probably right about being overgrown just now....the sign was slightly hidden with long grass!.... it was only last week, and I wasn't about to investigate in this heat...although curiosity was getting to me!
Investigation for another time I think!
