Re: Petition to revoke Article 50 ...
Server is down..... it had gathered over 600,000 signatures in less than 24 hours - maybe it's killing their server!

Yes ... I’ve just got my confirmation email and then CRASH ... perhaps I was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Nearly 800,000 signatures now. Getting about 1500 a minute.
How's that march doing?

Really ? It’s great that anyone can do this, I’ll have a think now....
Re: Petition to revoke Article 50 ...
I've signed it. Once they get to 100k signatures (any moment now) the government are obliged to respond. I'm pleased to see Hudswell looking forward to 17m signatures. Perhaps he'll get his wish. Anything is possible.

I signed as Mickey Mouse from Mayfair.
It was accepted - total farce.

You needed to give an email address to confirm, so address is to allow demographic split only

If she wants to go by “the will of the people” it was the will of the people at the last general election that the tories did not have a majority. I don’t think anyone voted for a coalition with the DUP.

Re: Petition to revoke Article 50 ...
No, petitions are not useless. We used a petition signed by just 1000 people to help us in our case against a bank. It helped. This current petition must be the fastest growing one ever in the UK. Along with the People's March at the weekend, it will help show the government the strength of feeling for a second referendum or to revoke Article 50 for the time being.
Re: Petition to revoke Article 50 ...
People will have signed from Cyprus, I'm sure - does that make it not a valid strength of feeling? It's only a petition.
