January 2019 has seen record levels of rain and water inflow to the dams across Cyprus. Meaning the reservoir storage levels at the end of January were higher than in the previous couple of years, in fact higher than any year except 2012 according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment records. This should mean no water shortages over the summer as well as the abundance of wildlife enjoying the situation at present.

Reservoir Levels Rising Again...
Re: Reservoir Levels Rising Again...
According to the Govt’s water development website the current water level in the Asprokremnos Dam is just over 78%! When the Troodos snow melts, the water levels should continue to melt. No risk of a summer water shortage particularly if people are sensible and don’t waste it.
