The day after #StormDoris

Post by PhotoLady »

We had a couple of friends who were planning a visit to Blackpool this week during the school holidays and luckily, they chose the right day!

Me, hubby and Mum took the bus into Blackpool and met our 2 friends off the train. A stop for lunch and a drink at The Litten Tree not far from The Metropole Hotel provided us with fish, chips and peas plus a drink each (a large choice of wine, tea, coffee and different beers) for 5 people at a little over £29.

Followed by a stroll along the promenade and out to the end of Central Pier then through the shopping streets before stopping off for a well earned cuppa at The Mazzei Café inside The Winter Gardens.

All in all a very Grand Day Out.

Mum had a great time :-)

This was one of the photos I didn't put up because it didn't show one of my friends in a good light and I knew she wouldn't like it...

But when I sent it to her by a message the next day, she wanted to know all about the "ghost" I had captured in the far right of the picture. He appears to have no face!
Now I know there are several supposedly haunted places along Blackpool seafront (the North Pier being one of them) and this photo was taken in between Blackpool North Pier and Central Pier......
Blackpool Ghost?
