A Chinese decorative in paphos - cooperation board pafou and embassy of China to create kinezikou park in town
With the amount of EUR 30.000 it contributes to the creation of the 'China Park' in our city the embassy of the friendly country in Cyprus.
In the morning, China's ambassador to nicosia huang xingyuan delivered to mayor paphos phaídōna phaídōnos the check with this amount, which will cover part of the cost of construction work. The Embassy of the friendly country will also supply the park equipment with construction already transferred from China for this purpose, a total cost of about EUR 20.000, while the rest of the expenditure will be covered by paphos municipality.
The Park, with a total budget of about 100.000 euros, will be created in the centre of the city, in part of the land "Ahmet Rashid" where the park is also operated.
The creation of the "China park" in paphos is part of the close cooperation that the municipality of paphos has maintained in recent years with the embassy of the people's Republic of China in Cyprus and aims to form an area of entertainment and rest for the family of Chinese Nationals They live in our province in an environment familiar and safe, but also a beautiful and pleasant park for local residents of the city,
The competition for the creation of the park is already under way, while construction work is expected to start in January and complete within 3 months.
