Large Amethyst found Paphos area

This Amethyst in the center of a huge rock with two colors is
one of the crystals I found around Paphos. The whole block weighs 28 kg.
Is one of my favorite hobbies to collect minerals since I stopped looking for ancient things...
My largest Amethyst rock so far was 120 kg heavy..

for me priceless, in Switzerland where it is not allowed to collect minerals very expensive,
found similar one years ago on a swiss website for 23000 SFr.

There is another one similar size and my "Guard" Agama has a good look
that nobody comes along to pinch.... ha ha German Alsatian is nearby.

How do you actually collect a 120Kg rock? You must have a huge mantelpiece.

Very lucky was that the rock was above the road where I had
my jeep parked. I managed to roll it on a piece of strong nylon and
pulled it downhill slowly slowly towards the car. Opened the back
door of car which opens sidewards and positioned car across the road
towards the hillside sliding the rock into the car (this was the most difficult part)
Taking it out of the car I had 3 people to help!!
