The Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank comes out in favour of globalisation? Who would have thought it?

This brilliant ad by Richard Ayoade has been out for ages, in fact it had stopped being aired so they must be re showing it again.

There you go HiC, more of the same old same old! No shades of grey with you in your outlook, in fact no white either only morbid black! Try and enjoy the advert for what it is, you might be surprised?

HSBC will move seven offices from London to Paris in the new year; it shows their confidence in Brexit.
It's not about black, white or grey, it's about reality.

Google HSBC Brexit and the information is there.

It has around 3,900 offices world wide so I would guess some of them are in London..

WIKI does say the headquarters is at Canada Square, London.

Indeed it is -
HSBC to move seven offices from London to Paris amid Brexit uncertainty

HSBC shifts European branches to French unit control ahead of Brexit
https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-brita ... KKBN1KT1G1
article from last month
All very sad, but to be expected.

HSBC used to have a big Dealing Room at Thames Exchange, Mansion House, London. I worked there for a few years in I.T Support in the 90s. They had a big disaster recovery site at Canary Wharf, which was just about the most boring building you can imagine, filled with computers never being used. When Canary Wharf finally began to take off, I believe they moved down there completely.

It is HSBC UK that moved to Birmingham obviously they have confidence in the future of the UK .

It is HSBC holdings that remains in Canary Wharf .

HSBC made the move to Birmingham in 2015, a year before the referendum and no doubt they did a bit of forward planning and didn't move on the spare of the moment.🤔
