What's This?

We think it might be a baby Praying Mantis. It certainly walks like one, but it doesn't really look like one. Any ideas?

Thanks Shane. The key thing was, she got himself free of the bit of sawdust she had got attached to in one of the photos, and I was able to put her out of harm's way.

Praying Mantis is a general term applied to any Mantid, similar to that of a Seagull being applied to any Gull! The Mantid we normally associate as a "Praying Mantis" is the Sphodromantis viridis shown below.
