Can some one check the forum search facility is working please.
I wanted to find past posts about Amazon deliveries. So I put in Amazon. It gave no results.
So I put in Amazon deliveries.. still no results. This was the reply
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: deliveries amazon.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.

Re: Forum Search facility
There is a problem with some words. I will have a tinker with the back end. If it all explodes blame trevnhil.

Re: Forum Search facility
Problem solved. I had to delete the search index then recreate it. Apparently it is a bug in phpBB. I could bore you with the details but I started typing an explanation and felt the life sapping out of me.

Re: Forum Search facility
I imagine years is a very common word here though.
I just did a search on "amazon" and it had over 500 results. I don't know what the maximum is before that message kicks in, but I would say that you need to find a more narrow search phrase. Alternatively, use the google search option at the top of the page, though you may have to go to the main site to see that, depending on what theme you are using.
