Stop Crime in Cyprus - a meeting is to be held with the Paphos Chief of Police, and the Mayor of Paphos at the Central Police Station near to Kennedy Square. Requests for attending the meeting and/or submitting of questions has been opened up to all residents of the Paphos area, from Sea Caves, Peyia across to Secret Valley.
It is likely that the number of attendees will be limited so if you wish to attend could you please email [email protected]
If you have specific questions that you would like raising with the Police, could you please submit them to [email protected] by 5 September - the questions need to be listed to avoid duplications. Please note that all the questions [which remain outstanding still despite reminders!] raised at the meeting in Kamares earlier this year will be on the list, as is the requirement for statistical information regarding burglaries in the Tala and Kamares area in the last 5 years.
Questions should be strictly regarding security and safety which fall within the responsibility of the Police.
It is thought that the meeting will consist of two parts.
1 General questions, common for each area
2 Questions from particular areas, ie Peyia, Tala, Kissonerga, Sea Caves, etc which it is likely will be answered by the Police responsible for those areas.

Re: Crime Issues - Meeting with Chief of Police and Mayor
Thank you, Dominic, people have the chance for their concerns to be aired with a senior representative of the Police and the Paphos Mayor. Hopefully more meetings involving more groups that are interested in tackling crime will be arranged as a result.
