Well, I thought it is tricky in the first place. A little hint: the photo was done 2011 from a roof terrace in Konia with 20x zoom.... ;)

The hilly area behind the church is not in Armou but is the "honey bee mountain" (Melissovouno) at Tala. The church however belongs to.... :?:

If I draw a straight line between Melissovouno and Konia then it must be Mesogi???

Is that the church?

I knew that I am familiar with the honey bee mountain - we live close to it - but I simply could not think of that church...

A.

PS. why is it called honey bee mountain? There are lots of beehives between Tremi and the monastery that is true - is that the reason?

Yes Andreas, it is the church in Mesogi village.

The name of the hilly area was always Melissovounos as I can remember before any houses were built in that area. (melissa = Greek = honey bee, vounos = mountain. ) The name of the honey I buy from a producer at Marathounda has also the name Melissovounos and is from his properties at Tala.
and is of excellent quality...
