Just heard Hellenic bank are opening again in Pegia, in the Old Co-Op.
This is good news if true.

I was told that the Coop in Kissonerga will be closed, leaving the village with no services, despite the sizeable population. We don't even have a post office!

I also have a family member affected and would concur with Flossie's comments. Its a shame for the hardworking staff (often 7am to 6pm despite what many believe to be the easy hours of bank staff) who are little to do with any of the misgivings/lending or political shenanigans of the Coop bank.
