Unless someone knows differently, it seems as if the crew of the pleasure boat did the best they could for the poor man, bearing in mind that he was out at the Blue Lagoon. It would have been difficult to rescue him any quicker, having used a speedboat to return him to Lathchi a.s.a.p, and an ambulance to Polis hospital.
But must have been a terrible shock to anyone who was present seeing it happen, and especially his family. Very sad. My condolences to his family.
