Looks like the French nation (throughout all their differences) have been brought together today by their football team.

Fabulous to watch.

I saw the same thing happen with the English people and their team over the past couple of weeks . . . . Also lovely to watch.

It is a great feeling to be proud of your country . . . Whatever the reason. ❤❤❤

Ermmm, football us Jocks are not the MOST famous for! :lol:

It was one of the best WC finals I remember. Unfortunately it was a dive from Griezmann which was leading to the first goal for the French and if the Croatian goalie had a better form this day, then perhaps they would even win the match. In the end the French deserved to win. Best player of the tournament was awarded Croatian's Modric with the Golden Ball and the Croation people can be proud what their team achieved with a population of only 4 m.
