Before posting a news story, please check in the News section to see if it has already been posted or not. It can get confusing if there are multiple threads talking about the same thing.

If you do post a news story and it vanishes, it will either have been removed as a duplicate or moved to the news section.

Occasionally, I will replace your news story with an "official" link to the article. Official links also appear on the main site news section. If that happens and there are comments on the existing thread, I will merge them.

If your post gets deleted, it doesn't mean you have done anything wrong. I say this because I occasionally get sent apologies which are really not necessary at all. I would much rather I managed duplicates than people didn't post news articles.
