New pc with win 10 & can't find a simple program that runs in the background to remind me of events

Thank's Trev but Norton is not allowing me to install. Anyone else with suggestions?

Have you not tried using the Calendar that comes with Win10? You can add events and wotnot to that.

Thanks Dominic will give it go. Does it remind you of events every time you boot up? That's what I'm looking for

JB was thinking the same myself. It came with the package but will rely on microsoft security as they seem to have us by the ba**s

I don't know. You can set it to remind you anything from 5 mins to a week before the event. Presumably if you set reminder to a day before the event you would get reminded when you first turned the computer on that day. I don't know if you would get the same reminder twice though.

Just try it and see, it is already on your computer and free.
