The only thing in the official video which remains me of Cyprus is the unfortunate setting fire to a car, which is the typical Cypriot way to sort out controversies....

Cyprus seem to be favourites to win with the "bookies".

Good Luck Cyprus & Eleni.

Why not invite China then, A billion more viewers, should bring in a few more Shekels.,
We used to enjoy watching it back in the day, when you listened to each country singing in their own language, French/Spanish/Italian etc etc, not now more of a circus, men with beards in frocks, twats dressed up as monsters etc, add the vote fix, Cyprus-Greece 12 points.....Scandinavian country's voting for each other , Turkey voting for its Turkic friends, no not for me, but as you say harmless fun.

Given that there aren't 100 countries entering that would be a statistical impossibility.

Why not have a World Song Competition, and have it every four years? There could be groups and leagues and stuff. And Panini could do sticker albums.

Actually, it would be interesting if GB had four countries in the Eurovision. Would we all vote for each other or would the other three adopt the traditional "anyone but England" stance?

Oh come on chaps, it's just a bit of harmless old nonsense. Kick back, put taste on hold, and enjoy.

The Cyprus entry seems to be favourite to win at the moment. Pretty girl with computer enhanced voice, which seems to be all the rage at the moment. If she wins then Eurovision comes to Cyprus next year. Now that would be fun.

God help us if Cyprus has to organise the contest next year, when it can't organise a p1ss-up in a brewery.

If Cyprus win Eurovision 2018, we shall come back next year for a flying visit.
