I think Kestrel! Quite common throughout the island.

It's an adult male Common Kestrel Falco tunnunculus, nice photo!

It's an ADULT male Lincoln & your other photo shows a female on the left and a male on the right! Any juveniles that may have fledged (which would be very early actually) would not show a bird in full male breeding plumage, instead juveniles would look very similar to the females until they moult into their adult plumage in their second calendar year. Regarding size difference, female Birds of Prey are generally larger than their male equivalents!

Have a breeding pair roost at the bottom of my plot also see occasionally them been bombed and swooped by the swallows

There are about 18 swallows around our garden at the moment. It can get quite hectic going for a late afternoon swim. My wife was out snapping pics of them today.

I saw that when I was out exploring today. A bird flew up in front of me. I was holding my camera taking pictures so I took this, before moving swiftly away. Don't worry though, I have zoomed in the actual shot. I didn't get that close, as the original shows:
