Has anyone has a letter from Hellenic Bank requesting updated details with the freezing of accounts if you fail to complete it within 10 days?

Yes, the date on the letter was about 3 weeks ago - I haven't got round to doing it yet and I have been using my account with no problem. Actually I went into the branch about 3 weeks ago to change my address and that's when the letter arrived, I don't understand why they didn't get me to 'update my details' while I was in the branch??!!

Got it last year and I ignored it. No problems.

As we are away at the moment and didn’t receive the letter until yesterday we now find that we can not access our account we don’t owe any one money and we have a healthy bank balance how can they do that?

Had to do it recently with Bank Of Cyprus accounts.
