Blue Mountain Coffee ?

Post by Ramone »

I don't suppose anyone has come across Jamaican Blue Mountain ground Coffee on there travels in Paphos as I had a cup the other day in Moscow and being a coffee lover it was the best coffees I have had in a long time.
If not I will have to try and get some imported.
Thanks in advance.

Gina's Place used to have it in Paphos, but that is quite some years ago. Maybe contact her at Peggie's Garden Café in Peyia. She might know.
You do know it is very expensive but indeed top quality.

Thanks Louise, I will pop into Peggie's when I get home.
I knew it was expensive but it's a small price to pay for a wonderful cup of coffee in the morning.
If not I will go through Amazon.
Thanks all.

I just looked it up.

Available at Whittards at £25 for 4 ounces.

If you know anyone that is coming over, it might be good to get them to bring some. Fresher that way.

Well at the 'bargain' price of £25 for 4oz (113g) in UK, I certainly hope the poor producers in Jamaica are getting their fair share of this Blue Mountain coffee trade.

There again, being the eternal pessimist, I somehow rather doubt it...

Thanks Louise,
I have ordered it from Whittards.
It should be a week or so. I'm looking forward to sitting on the veranda in the morning with a fabulous cup of coffee.
Thanks all.

I'm usually quite happy with Nescafé or Nesafé Gold. But as Blue Mountain coffee is now apparently on sale in Tesco, I certainly intend to give it a try!
