My office chair ( quite a large one ) needs repairing as it wobbles to both sides that I nearly fall off. Anybody knows a place where I can go?
I went to Sedia Office furniture Yeroskipou, but they cannot repair as it is not bought from them.

Why not go and look in the Charity shops. I have seen some excellent ones in them and of course they are cheap as chips.
Don't know any of the Charity shops except Paphiakos. Can you tell me in which one you have seen large office chairs? Thank's
Thank you all for your recommendations. I took the chair apart and found out myself where the problem lays. A cast iron joint was broken which means no way anybody could that repair. To avoid that it happens to me again when buying second hand, I had a look at Steptoes this morning. They don't sell office chairs, but reclining furniture which I went straight for it as it was ever so comfortable when I tried it, feet up. Paid cash and they delivered it already cost free lunch time. So for tonights match St.Germain v Real Madrid I look forward, hopefully not falling asleep with that comfort..

Have a duvet handy, Max, as you will easily fall asleep in your new chair after the footie!

Was already falling asleep the last hour, but I am fit now to watch the match which starts in 5 minutes.... and my room temperature is 23c thanks to my solar air heating system...no need for duvet. Hope PSG wins 2:0!

How does a solar air heating system maintain a temperature at night?
As my system is blowing hot air from 8 am until 4 pm into the house ( 6 panels facing SE, 4 panels facing W) the room temperature on the SE is raising to ca 25c and drops late in the night to ca 21 c, providing there is not too much wind and the outdoor temperature is above 14 c. If the house was better insulated the drop would be less. Later in March I have to decide when to stop the system in order not to overheat the rooms in the south. It can get easy 28 c, but this is different from year to year so far. Definitely mid April I will cover all panels until next November ca, otherwise I have use the air con too early which I am not a fan of. The main reason I built this system was not only to increase temperature in the house but in the same moment to reduce the high humidity of 80% which was in the building when I moved in. Humidity is now ca 45%-55% in winter. The panels are different prototypes in order to find out which design is more efficient as I was thinking in the past to go into business with my systems. In the end I decided not to as I know in Cyprus when you start something new, there is not much later a copy of it in the same market.
No matter what chair you have comfort is attained by the temperature of the room.. When Max said his Solar system had the room at 23c, I looked at the temperature in our lounge... 22.5c but with no heating at all during the day. Insulation is the secret..
Indeed Trev, that's what I already mentioned in my last post. But also very important is to control the humidity in the house. Experts in Germany came to the result if the house was too much sealed dump problems showing up beside other issues. My solar air systems is designed to avoid high humidity.
Our house is very well sealed.. maybe too much so.. In the UK I think UPVC windows have trickle vents at the top.. There are non here. I have no idea what humidity we have or have not in the bungalow..
But (of course) we suffer no mould problems

Trev, you are up in them thar hills and so will not get the high humidity that us lowlanders get.
Up here where I live, near Minthis Golf, a bit higher than Polemi, my indoor/outdoor hygrometers show that nearly all winter the humidity is very high with many days >80% RH. On the other hand in summer many days it is extremely dry with often <25% RH, specially when the wind comes from the mountains. In the end my solar air heating system proved the last 6 years that it is removing the humid conditions in my house in winter in a big way....
I bought several weather stations and recently a couple of radio hygrometers at Lidl which I placed in different rooms. The indoor unit displays at a glance indoor temp/humidity AND outdoor temp/humidity. So if it is outdoors warmer and less humid than indoors, I open all doors and windows to exchange the air in the house. A copy of the manual below: price was ca 25 Euro
WOW, Max! I fancy one of these units for indoors. So what would I need to buy for outdoors, to send outside temperature and humidity readings to the indoor Bresser device, please?

Alan, the outdoor unit comes with the large indoor unit in one set. You can see the outdoor unit with it's little display on the right hand side of my pic.!
