The picture is on the webcam page, where it usually is. The camera had got nudged by a ladder. It is now back where it should be, albeit slightly crooked.

That's much better thanks, Dom. Until the ladder nudge today, the webcam has been noticeably angled downwards slightly for the past few weeks (since that insect invaded the lens).

So the view has tended to show your driveway and 4x4 more than the sky view (as was your original intention). On Wednesday last, I even clocked Alex unloading something from the back of your motor, LOL!

There is a link at the top of every page.

Al, I need to make a more robust stand for the camera. At the moment, it relies on it's own hinge, which can't handle Cypriot temperature changes very well. I want to make a wooden framework to steady it.

Can you take a close-up photo of your current webcam installation and post, please, Dom?

There might be simpler and easier ways to fix altitude and azimuth alignment on such a device, if the OEM bracketry is akin to (say) a standard outdoor PIR security lamp...

Cheers- AL :)

Not cheap, Lloyd, but very high quality (probably German made) kit.

All I had in mind to stabilze the Polemi webcam was a couple of galvanized meccano strips, one fixing the vertical axis, and the other anchoring the horizontal alignment. Plus a few screws, nuts and washers etc..

But if Dom wants to transform it into a wooden bird and spider nesting box, then that's entirely his perogative, ain't it?

Got it now, thank you Dominic.
