Glad to see that emgee edited his 5 nations post to now include France for 6 nations. But I would rather have wished Scotland to finish at least above France...

Wales needed a "Plan B", but it never materialised. Time for Gatland to go and get a native Welshman in charge of our team.

The last thing Wales need is a native Welshman in charge. The WRU is the most inward looking organisations in the sport and have probably struggled the most to evolve during the professional era. Bringing in foreigners like Graham Hendry and Warren Gatland has helped develop the game dramatically over the last 15 years or so.
I do agree that Gatland should consider moving on, 10 years with the same team is too long to be expected to come up with fresh ideas, but I think the last thing the WRU needs now is to go backwards and start offering 'jobs for the boys'.

If you think that 12 - 6 is a hammering you're definitely not a Rugby supporter.

Wales's game plan was fine, and could have won them the game. Their problem was too many high kicks to Mike Brown, which he fielded brilliantly.

The stats don't support your argument. Possession England 49% Wales 51%, Metres gained England 411, Wales 501, Defenders beaten England 18 Wales 23, Turnovers England 10 Wales 16, Scrums even, Penalties against England 10 Wales 2. I think it was a very evenly matched game, although I think if Halfpenny had been fit it may have been a different result, he would have kicked for goal instead of touch with a lot of those penalties but it was not to be.
As it was England deserved the win and Brown was unstoppable when Wales just kept feeding him the ball.
