The Pasykaf buses offer a free service and the Paphos buses often collect and deliver Limassol patients en route. However, the buses have a timetable to keep to, so if your treatment is likely to last beyond the time the last bus is scheduled to leave the BoC Oncology Centre (1pm), best to make your own way there.

Flossie, it's a brilliant service and the drivers are much more than just drivers - they help the patients on/off the bus, ensure they get to whichever clinic they are visiting in plenty of time for their appointment, ensure that they have all remaining patients on the last bus back to Paphos, and they also do a lot of running around, collecting and delivering meds/blood/whatever in between driving the buses to/fro Paphos. Once the BoC Oncology Centre has the patient registered as being a) from Paphos and b) using the Pasykaf bus service, they pull out all the stops to ensure that appointments are mornings only, and that treatments are started early enough to finish in time for the 1pm bus.
We made full use of the Pasykaf bus service (and also the nurses) and have nothing but high praise for all of them.
(Sorry for thread creep

I could not agree more Kay.We did not use the bus because my husband had to stay in for 5 days at a time and could not be admitted until after the Drs rounds but they even said I could use it whilst visiting as long as there was space and they even offered me reasonable accommodation nearby which I could not use because of our dogs but the offer was there. The home visits by the nurses are also outstanding!
