Pair of suspects arrested for Paphos burglaries

Police have arrested a 36-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman who are suspected of being involved in burglaries in Paphos in December.

According to police reports the incidents happened on December 15 and 28.

The 36-year-old suspect was arrested early on Wednesday in Paphos.

A house owner, 60, discovered at 12.30pm on Tuesday that her home had been broken into and found the 19-year-old on the roof of her pergola, police said. A car which was stolen on December 28 in Paphos was found near the house.
